OD Backgrounds disappear! Redux!

I love my ObjectDock, but for a few days now it has been acting up. It is freezing up, and if I have a Full screen program run, afterwards there is no dock at all. I have been trying to figure it out (recalling newly DL'd items and such), and today I discover the reason it can't be seen is that there are no backgrounds in the pull-down menu at all. Very bizarre for my usually extremely stable (and beloved) OD.


Please re-read this! I thought I had this fixed, but it has returned just as bad      As I write this it has reverted to the taskbar, and restarted OD but in a strange position. And now just went away again. It left a crash report  : MDMP“§(Q. I am now having to reload OD several times a day and it cannot be relied on. Half of the time now the tabs are showing but will not actually work. I then have to click on the icon and when it brings up the edit menu, that sends the dock away, the taskbar come up and I have road OD. Very frustrating!

Please Obi-Wan you're my only hope!

And... of course. As soon as I actually post a cry for help, I remember one last thing I added - Animated shortcut docklet- and that seems to have fixed the problem.

The best troubleshooting is when you finally figure it out for yourself...good feeling isn't it. You did better than most.

You should have put a note down here to reread the original post up there...I opened this and thought...why are they bumping this when they resolved the issue....
