Remote Desktop .RDP Shortcut Issues

Hi,
Firstly let me say that ObjectDock is fantastic for organising all the shortcuts I used to have on my desktop and QuickLaunch toolbar, and it's visually awesome. It works like a charm for everything I need with one exception...
Has anyone else experienced a problem launching a Remte Desktop settings file (.RDP) from a dock?
I'm using Vista Ultimate 64-bit. On my system it acts as if I launched mstc.exe without any settings file: Remote Desktop uses the default settings no matter how I try to launch it. I've even tried making .cmd and .bat files and dragging those onto the dock. If I launch them from the desktop, it fine; if I launch from the dock, I get the default mstsc.exe dialogue.
Any ideas?
