i need help with the startpanel logg off buttons

On my new skin Plugged In, I am having problem with the log off buttons, I am doing them in the style so the mouse over colour is not used... but my buttons are cut off, as the picuture shows. The margins dont seem to help, and the content margins for startpanel logg off dont seem to be helping either...does anyone have any ideas? ill be happy to send the wba file....
shown below is the startmenu, with the problem logg off buttons.

hey fuzz...content margins not helping, its just raising the cut off buttons...this is really puzzeling. Ive got extra png space around the buttons..(cause they are round, so when I margin it, there is room to go past the circle...heirofslytherin does the same thing..) so I cant work out why the same theory wont work on a larger button..

I don't use buttons there anymore, but when I still did, it seems to me that there is a limit to the size of the buttons you can use there. I recall never having my buttons any bigger than 24 x 24 pixels. Maybe if you try to make the buttons a little smaller, it would work out bettter. The bottom bar content margins dictate the placement of the buttons....maybe try making the top and bottom content margins set to 0, and see if the rest of the buttons show. How big is your bottom bar? If it is not a few pixels taller than the height of your buttons, that may also be part of the problem.

Heya Jazz....hmmm I might have to make this button smaller... mystartpanel log off is 70 the buttons are 50..... im very fustrated...lol you dont use buttons? how come i never noticed this on yr skins..im gonna have to go see now, close up..
me and big buttons, go figure........ huh

Ok, solved your problem... 
The background image is getting cut off because the 'Plugged InStartMenu.LogonBackgroungImage.tga' image has a greater height than the 'Plugged InStartPanelLogoffButtons.tga' image. It's the button image which sets the size of the bottom panel area being used, so all you need to do is make 'Plugged InStartPanelLogoffButtons.tga' taller!

Im still getting grief, can you please tell me the new measurement you made for the buttons? and what about the sizing margins for the buttons?.... im tweaking with both but getting nowhere.

I increased the height of the button image to 50 - looks ugly becase I just stretched it rather than increased the canvas size - changed a few margin settings too - though I'm still playing with those.
If you get stuck I'll package this modified version and send it to you.

mrs starkers, you are right about it being awesome. The bit I have only has a start menu, but what a start menu - its the most amazing thing I've seen. Can't wait till the whole skin is finished

hey Fuz....can you tell me, did you have any content problems with the start menu?..sometimes I got a lil bubble coming up with "not enough room to display list" ect....i just changed the number and altered the content margins......but it still kind of worries me....

It's bottom bar content margin which determines the height of the log off buttons, at least it moves the buttons up on my skins.
Your pic hasn't posted properly. Let me try...
