I just have to say this even tho I probably shouldn't. GET OVER IT!!! Yes I know someone leaked it while others, like myself, got it legit by paying money. The bigger question is are you happy with the theme if you got it legitimatly? If so then thats all that really matters so why let someone else steal your joy. I'll admit it does annoy me when ppl rip off suites but why should I let the theifs ruin my enjoyment of a neat skin. Too many acting like the the puppy on a bridge that wants the reflection in the waters bone instead of being happy with what he already has.

Stardock can tell who leaked the suite because of the DL links so let THEM deal with it and just enjoy life.

if you renewed ODNT before Friday beyond 1/1/2009 you should have got an email.  If you did those things, and didn't get an email, contact stardock.

Peterwasthr, if you bring up stardock and click on the bottom of screen where it says Registraition info what does it show for your subscription expire date? It needs to read a date beyond 1/1/2009 to get the special skin, if it it expires in 2008 you wont qualify for the free skin. If it does read correctly and you just did the sub then it might take a few days before they email you a link as its not just a regular dl from wincustomise and it is the weekend. I would say if your expires are right and you havent heard from them, Stardock, by end of day Monday maybe drop support an email

Hey Y'all*,
I so wanted to refrain from responding, as I do have much more "troubling issues";
I have, not one, but two severe chronic pain diseases. RSD (full body) and Avascular Necrosis (knees). Both are the result of a work injury to my right knee back in 1992. Thus, I am now completely "physically" disabled. I am unable to work in any capacity. And lastly, where my disappointment in this entire subject relates, I am "stuck" having to live, or attempt to, on Social Security.

As I am sure many others do as well, I have purchased almost every premium theme that has had even the slightest appeal, as I truly wanted to just "give back" to all those whom are just incredibly talented. I am also a subscriber to WinCust and OD.

OK, that's my "rant". Will I re-subscribe next month (ObjDesk) for yet another year? My entire cost-of-living increase was just announced; the 'COL' increase amounts to $13 a month extra, a 2.3% increase.

My Best to All*,

Was just playing around with the new skin and noticed something. Did Stardock eliminate the ability to skin the command prompt window? If its still an option I coudln't find the setting to do it.Not a major issue if its gone but if its still there and Im just missing the setting I'd appreciate a pointer on where to find it, hehe

JoeyLee, I feel your pain as I too am disabled and been so since 1991 and know what its like trying to do anything with such a limited income. If it wasnt for the time I spent in the service I'd be living on even less than the whoopin $650 a month I get. I wish those ppl in congress that say we're living high on the hog at the Gov's expense could be forced to live on what they say is so good for several months and without backup money. Maybe then they would realize just how screwed some of us are.

The feature has been removed so that per-pixel skinning could work.  It's been that way since 5.0 I think.

Magic is not free to WC at all.  It is for OD subscribers who have subscriptions past 1/1/09

To have subscription to OD past 1/1/09 you may have subscribed/renewed till 1/1/08        (or having bought an OD subscription for 2 years since 1/1/07), i renewed my OD subscription (since years and yaers ...) on 09/06/07 though avaible untill 09/06/08 (didn't see any possibility or renewing for 2 years indeed), and i won't have rights for this suite ??

Me thinking, there's a big bug in the Stardock business plan ...

Let's take a situation:

1°) For now and in case of this "Magic" suite, someone having bought a subsription for ODNT after 1/1/2007 and for 2 years and no more, is avaible to get it for free.

2°) But someone (i'll take my own case for simplicity ...) having bought WindowBlinds V1, then Component Manager (ancestor of Stardock Central) then bought and renew since then his subscription to ODNT (but without chance has his actual subscription avaible till september 2008), have beside a subscription to Wincustomize since it exists, have to pay for it.

Though i'd like, for me and for all "old" Stardock products subscribers, to get an OFFICIAL answer from Stardock Managers of what is exactly their commercial political advantages they want to give to subscribers. Do they forget that "old" subscribers have
1°) contribued to financed their passed activities ?
2°) contribued (a lot i think) by testing products and report bugs, to improve their products ?

It's not a simple question of a child whim crying because he don't get a lolly, it's an important question for all advantages that Stardock may want to give to subsribers, depending of their status helping the Firm to exist, to grow and progress...

I hope i've been clear even my english is not as good as i'd want ...

Well I do like thee theme but I have one issue with this skin, as well as a few others. Why can't the Suite makers include a wallpaper that DOESNT have the suite name plastered on it in huge txt. I'm the only one using my computer and I really don't need a constant reminder of the skins name. I mean if you just have to have the name fine why not do it in small txt over the task tray as an option and allow us the choice?
Just a petty grumble I'm sure

Read the posts by KarmaGirl in this thread. She *IS* official Stardock Manager.

Extended subscribers got this suite for free. Other members got a discount. In the future other groups will get other premiums. Seems pretty clear and nice of them.

I've red her, but didn't see any answer/explanation (i mean with convincing arguments) off what i'm talking in #132 ...
