Windows Sidebar skinning

Thursday, October 11, 2007 by songman | Discussion: WindowBlinds

I just purchased Optix premium Windowblind, which contains a sidebar skin. I don't understand how to load the sidebar. The author says to "unzip the sidebar to the Windowblinds folder", but I'm not sure how this is done. Any help would be appreciated.

In Wb6 there is a section for Sidebar skins, If one is included it should show up in this section.. select it and apply.

When you unzip the file you should see Optix wba.and a zip that says Optix Sidebar. Unzip the sidebar and place the folder in the Windwblinds folder which is located here C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\WindowBlinds

And then do what vStyler said.

The sidebar skin is included in the zip file, but doesn't show up in Windowblinds. That's what I don't know how to do...make the zip file show up in the section for sidebar skins.

Unzip the sidebar folder and place the folder (not the zip) in the directory I stated above.

Then open up Windowblinds and choose the Sidebar tab at the top.
