An amazing performance by the English Lionhearts.
I know they whipped us at cricket but even as a staunch supporter I couldn't see us beating the Aussies at the World Cup quarter final.
Amazing heart and bravery.

Disaster is right, the whole country has plunged into a state of depression.
If All Blacks cant win Aussies winning is next best thing but that didnt work out either...
Now I'm of to find some rope and a tree

Poor old All-Blacks beaten by the French....missed that game...but was probably a bigger/unexpected 'disaster'....

Could be interesting, but goal kicking might be a problem.
Don't go doing that...not over a game of rugby. Could understand it over rugby league - not rugby, tho

You have to feel sorry for the Aussies; they were so tired from talking about the English team and how they were going to trash them that they had no energy left for the game! Their front row was smashed.

No I don't....just like I don't when the Poms lose the cricket.
All's fair in sport & war....all combatants are fair game...all can be cut down in the name of the game.
Wonder if that means chess masters will be able to take baseball bats into tournaments?

Buzz....I felt the same way...in reverse....Oz first...All Blacks second.....then I thought 'come on, Fiji ....still 'our' end of the world'.

It was a good day
A win for our Rugby lads against France in a hard won game in Paris.
A win for our footballers against Estonia played @ Wembley.
Both were good wins, but I've removed the results on the off chance someone has still to see the games....
