We've all done it........ well, if you are a skinner you've done it. You design a skin, spend ages getting to a point where it's almost finished, and then you think..... O.K. stop fooling yourself, this is a piece of C**P!! And shortly afterwards you consign it to the depths of your hard drive, never to be seen again.

Well here's a chance to show those mistakes, prove that you are human and maybe give hope to the newer skinners....hehehe.

I'm prepared to go first, and show you one of MY rejects. I made this skin about 4 years ago, I thought it was cool for a few weeks, with it's "innovative" titlebar buttons that used the ATI logo. Fortunately, I realised this was never going to run, especially with that "out there" titlebar!

O.K....... No laughing.

And..... we want to see YOUR rejects, so get posting and don't leave me out here all alone!!!

I've got way too many 'rejects' in the past and to post'em here would hog up too much space

(By the way, if you took the pattern off the red bits, and reduced the opacity of the pattern on the grey bits, that ain't so bad!!)

Must be the red. This was a collaboration betwen Bones 2112 and myself that has been on the shelf for a couple years now. Could never get up the balls to release it.

Hey, IR, I like the overall shape of that. I agree with Boxxi about the pattern but I think it's pretty good!

Don't have to be a skinner to feel that....was looking at some wedding photos from 30 years ago....and it's not just cos of the ex ....had on shoes, flares and a shirt that I wouldn't be seen dead in now.

This isn't actually a true 'reject'. It's an almost completed skin but won't ever be released because no one knows/remembers who the original artist is.   
It's based on a site-skin from the old LOS (LotsOfSkins.com).

A blast from the past..... the convo between me and Hippy in #SD is describtion enough
(please note how few there's in the chan.....)   

So there, Bryan.... your "reject" ain't rejection-material compared to these

Not at all SleepyDawg, I don't think any of I.R's stuff sucks, even his reject! And I still think mine is the suckiest of all the ones posted here so far. (even Snowmans! hehe)

Actually, just looking through my stuff, I could easily post another 10 skins in here! I often start stuff and give it up shortly afterwards when I realise it's unworkable.
I'm sure I can find some more crap to post in here, let me go look........

i got plenty of themes i started. i'm still new at this "skinning" business, so im not the best, but i got 2 complete "good" themes so far.
