Go online?

Look out of the window?

Walk out the door, wet your finger & hold it into the wind?

The replies above are homorous but true.

The weather data is displayed through a feed from a web service.  It checks every minute I guess.  If it recieves no data, rather than show the last good data, it shows that it can't get it.

What would you have it do instead?  I think the design it has is the best.

Yes, the design it has is the best.

The meteorological data should be updated only if one is again online (I have no flatrate). They are at the latest to end the daily to purge.

Can I adjust the updat-frequency in the programcode?

Excuse my English. )

Your English is fine.  You cannot change the update frequency at this time.
It *is* an interesting suggestion though.
