Need help, Icon hangs for 1 minute...

I have OD+ and it worked great for one week. Now I have a little (big advent... oh wait, childhood memory... nvm 
) problem. I have a Fly-out icon for some directories but recently, without me changing anything, it hangs when i click on it. The whole dock freezes for about one full minute then the fly-out menu opens and all is well again. Anyone any suggestions??? I LOVE OD+ but i would hate to see it gona because of this
