WindowBlinds 6 Beta Feedback
Wednesday, August 1, 2007 by Neil Banfield | Discussion: Stardock Support General
Please post all feedback about the WindowBlinds 6 beta on this thread.
Note that the beta is for 32 bit XP and Vista systems only. Please do not post about it not working on 64 bit XP/Vista. Please continue to use WB 5.51 on those platforms.
This beta is for Object Desktop customers ONLY. Standalone WindowBlinds 5 owners will not be able to activate this build.
Please note that you must have Stardock Central 2.46 Build 154 or later to install the WindowBlinds 6 betas. If you try and use older versions, it'll eventually timeout and give you an error about an invalid URL.
If you have problems with it running at all, please uninstall WB6, reboot and then try reinstalling WB6 again.

I Sorta have a similar problem like Moletai. On any of the pop up screens or animations in Moulten only, the right border gives me a orange flashing effect on the right border only. Dosn't happen on any other skin I've tried. Also on the WindowBlind configuration screen under Settings Tab - Skinning Settings - Replace user Icon with the skin suplied Icon is permenantly checked and will not uncheck. Don't know if this is new or I just noticed it.

I totally agree 100%. They really need to be differentiated. Add Visual Style = msstyle, hacking/patching etc. Add skin = windowblinds.

I much prefer this command-style. Visual Styles also means same to me as somewhat archaic GUI-enhancement engine.

Here, the beta is running smoothly as well as the DesktopX beta.
I am running the betas on my:
Dell Dimension 4600 (OS: XP PRO SP2) with a pentium4HT cpu at 3.00GHz
1,024MB of DDR RAM with 320GB of storage.
The system has been on for 3 days straight using the Molten skin (I also used Beelzelbub skin by BoXXi).

That's or very similar is namely happening for me also. Only with Molten and max/restore cycle doesn't fix it.
