Tray icons reverting from custom icons back to standard ones

My configuration:
Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit
WindowBlinds 5.50 build 102
ObjectDock 1.90 Plus
This is really only a minor annoyance, but I thought that perhaps someone might have an easy solution or suggestion.
I have a "system tray" dock (docked at the bottom of my screen), because I do like having access to the tray icons, but I want to keep the actual Windows taskbar completely hidden. I have the icons in my "new, improved" system tray set to 34x34 pixels, because I like being able to use the higher-res icons, and being able to see them better than the normal (tiny) tray icons.
I've changed all the tray icons to custom icons of my own choosing, but there are two items in particular that keep reverting to their original icons. The blurry, up-sized 16x16 pixel icons really stand out. I change them back to the high-res PNGs, and within an hour or so, they just mysteriously revert to the ugly icons again.
The two icons in question are my standard Windows network tray icon and the tray icon for Thornsoft's ClipMate (clipboard extender) application.
Anyone have any idea why this is happening?
