Question concerning changing a skins preview photo.

Okay, so I have just posted my Firefox Aqua Orb icon, and someone has asked me to change the preview picture. I agree, I think it would be great to change that photo, but I don't want to loose all of the downloads. My question is as follows... If I change a skins preview photo does it loose its download stat and reduce it back to zero, or does it retain that and just change the photo with no harm done to my stats?

Moderations is perfectly fine. I just want all of them to have a larger photo of the icon over a background that I will use for each one. Thanks again!
