On Sunday, I went to see my brother get married. After the ceremony, we got hold of the guy who failed to turn up for the stag party, put him in stocks and let my bro have his revenge...

Yep, I think you got the description right 
We went easy on my bro (the groom) and the stag do was a fairly laid back party, but the no-show guy got it bad on the day of the wedding, the video still makes me crack up...

I thought so...and just as well I was the no-show at my own stag do's, then. Here in Oz the blokes think it's traditional, or should I say obligatory to perform rather unkind practical jokes on the poor groom: for example, the blokes at my brother's bucks night put him stark bollock naked on a non-stop (empty) cattle train to Rockhampton (about 400 miles away) with just a hat and a 50 coin in its band to make a call from a public phone.
Needless to say, when he awoke all hung over and naked the next morning in a smelly old cattle wagon, with only 3 or so hours to get back, panic stations instantly set in....he was 5 hours late for the ceremony, having got pulled up on his way home by some cops who observed his state of undress. Luckily they saw the funny side of it and didn't charge him for indecent exposure....can tell you his missus was not in the least impressed, with him or his boofy mates.

Been wed 3 times....and 3 times a no-show at the stag do's. So glad I've never attended such primitive displays of male bonding and chest beating.
