Hello all.  I was lookin for a way to monitor the tempature of the computer. I have a dell XPS410. I tried to use a third party system from Intel but when I installed it the computer locked down so it wouldn't start up. I call Dell and after they got me back up and running they told me you cannot monitor the tempature in my current model but If I was to purchase the New XPS710 it has a montior device in the system that does that....yea right I just bought this unit from Dell at $1200.00. Now they want me to purchase a $2100.00 model..NOT!!! So I thought I ask the smartest people in the world in here what I can do to monitor the tempature so it don't over heat?

Speedfan is a free program that monitors temp plus it can in some cases turn on and off fans as well.
