Yes, this person at 'least' has our names on them....but that's only a small part of the issue of Copyright and distribution.

YOU as the property owner have the inalienable right to determine how, when and where your property is displayed and/or distributed.

This site [Topdownloads.net] is violating your rights.

However, fortunately the site admin appears to be aware he has no right to be doing as he does and promptly complies with requests for content removal.

It is up to each individual artist/owner to determine whether there is a case for proceeding to sue for material loss/compensation.

i found 6 under my nic, i would also do search on NSOrg because that individual/group is taking credit for a lot of your walls, just a few i recognized..boss, skinhit, phoon, homeryulo.

Leo seems to respond quickly. In my case it took all of twelve minutes to get a response by email.

still no response here   but it looks like they (my walls) were removed  

PS: there seems to be a mirror site as well http://www.wallpapers.org/ or maybe its just all the same place.

Anyone who wants mine can have them, I really don't care. Funny, I don't think I am Rembrant, but some here do. We are giving them up for free here to folks and now you complain that your stuff is being taken without permission. I understand we want people to come here but when you have 3 members online and 1600 guests, do you really think this will make those 1600 buy/pay for anything. I wish we didn't let people download anything without making some type of purchase, but we do, up to a limit. I gotta say, If you let them download a wall and they use your name with it then you are getting the reputation and credit. Wincustomize isn't, thats what the big deal is really. Wincustomize allows people to download stuff, and you post it, now why would you complain, because it shows up someplace else? I don't get it. Please explain it to me. If it is good enough for here then it's good enough for the world. Be glad someone thought it was worth their time to post it someplace else.

Intellectual property is as real as any other.  Taking it and giving it away elsewhere is theft.  It's not about who has it, it's about how they get it.

Also, I fail to see how the number of members vs. the number of guests is relevant in this discussion.
