Celebrating our Holidays

In the US we just celebrated Flag Day and Father's Day, and it got me to wondering about our other holidays, and the holidays around the world. So you know what you do when your wanting answers, you go online to see what you can find. Well I came across Earth Calendar. This site allows you to search by year, month and day or by country for holidays celebrted.
It made for interesting searching, especially by country. Not alot of countries find time to have holidays like the good old USA. In fact we have two really important ones coming up, July 15 is National Ice Cream Day and July 23 is National Hod Dog Day!!! Yea we do have one other holiday coming up, the 4th of July, you may have heard of it.
So here's the question, what are the major, if that the proper word, holidays that you celebrate where you live?
If you have the time and talent why not downoad a screenshot showing people celetrating or if you are a skinner lets see what you can do with some skins.
Check the link out and see if they have all your countries holidays identified.

Around these parts we celebrate Friday afternoons..........
I've always felt that Mondays should be a National Holiday.

Yes...we have TGIF Day ..... and take a two day holiday after each one.....
