How to install .zip and .desktop?

The themes with a .wba extension install directly and immediately to Windowblinds, but I can't find on the website how to install themes which have a .zip and .desktop extension. Any help with step-by-step instructions or with links on the website is greatly appreciated.

.desktop are for DesktopX, not WindowBlinds. I think we need Bebi to suppy another tutorial.

Depends on what extension you get after downloading the file.
As my previously linked article explains, check the gallery description for the file you're downloading. It will tell you what program you need to run it.
