Internet Shortcut dragged to a tabbed dock

Thursday, May 31, 2007 by EdgeRider289 | Discussion: ObjectDock

Hello,
I created a tabbed dock to hold all the temporary internet shortcuts that I keep on my desktop. I am looking to remove the clutter. Typically when I find a site I want to review in more detail later, I create a shortcut on my desktop to remind me. My thought was to create a tabbed dock and drag the shortcuts to a set of tabs to keep things organized. The problem is that the shortcuts are created on the dock pointing to the shortcut itself and not the url. Is there any way to drag an internet shortcut to the dock and have it create an internet shortcut on the dock?

Thanks,
Glenn

I think what you'll have to do is edit the dock entry properties to point to the browser exe, then in Start put the url. I've never done it before though, just a recommendation I remember seeing somewhere.
