.rar yeah i have no clue

I wanted to try out this theme Vista 2.4 by Jemaho and it comes as a .rar, any ideas? i tried windows blinds 5 and even desktopX i have no clue what it should be using... help

You can download IZArc. It's freeware and it can extract rar files and just about any other archive you might find. WWW Link

Ideally skins should NOT be in .rar format archives.
The various archive suffixes assigned to the skinnable proggies...eg logons, bootskins, Windowblinds, Winamp, etc are ALL renamed .zip archives.
A Windowblind skin is .wba which, if the suffix is renamed to .zip can be openned with any regular zipping program....quite handy.
.rar is a different archive algorythm which is NOT supported...and requires such proggies as WinRAR to open...
