When is Stardock Design Going to "WOW" us?

Just a quick question, as the title implies...when? Most of all the premium Suites from SD are the same basic stuff. Not much there, not alot to work with for creating matching docks...same overall design and concept. Isn't WindowBlinds their software...and yet they don't do anything like what some of the better regular skinners are doing. I'm not out to bash, but I'm sure a bunch of people will jump on my case about this...even though I'm entitled to my opinion. So, where's the WOW? Anyone else feel this way, or am I just high and to the right?

I like some of the Stardockian stuff but not all, like many people i have my own feels
so when i want an interface stardock or others skinner haven't made i try to make it.
my own WOW. In an other hand, if you are surprised by a skin who can said the others too? sometimes yes. But in general, like all people haven't the same feelings, it's not the case.

Just my 2 cents:
Some of the suites strike me as being too conservative. I think part of the reason is that many skinners feel beaten down by the vocal (and I think minority) of users who scream about "big borders" and the like.
At this point, all of Pixtudio and I think all of Skinplant are working full-time at Stardock Design. But they've been all working on the MyColors project which have to be somewhat conservative for compatibility reasons.
That said, what I think we're seeing is residual concern on the suites. That is, the first few suites that came out were probably a bit more conservative than they could have been and then Stardock Design switched into high gear.
Compare the quality of the first Stardock Design suites to some of the more recent ones. There are two internal suites that are just incredible that we're waiting to release until the weather gets not so nice (summer sales suck). One of the suites has a full icon package (i.e. 100+) rather than the basic icon package (35+).
I'm rambling here but one other thing I'll let you guys know about is that we've started having the skinners mock up skins without regards to what WindowBlinds or whatever can actually do and then update the software to handle what the designs can do. I think that will bear the most fruit in the long term.
And lastly on the rambling, the media player thing is a tough call because it's so fragmented now.

Also.. what would people consider an acceptable # of icons in an IP to warrant being a bonafide "suite" element.

Yeah, that's a good idea, more time consuming I'm sure...but a good idea. I do that a lot with docks, mock it up in a test psd to see how everthing will fit/look, then try to get OD to do it. (Doesn't always work though)

We are probably going to be using this for any media player skins we produce.. It's just too good to pass up..compared to.. WMP. Although last time i checked, still no video support.

There is some crazy goodness coming out soon (one will be very soon) that have some real "WOW" included.
We have been listening to the growing want of "more" in the suites, so I think you will see "more" and some things that are quite new and different.
