It's very easy to use. Drag files into the dock and that's it.
To add docklet which got more functions, right click and choose Add Entry.
The built in docklet don't cause any problems. Third party ones might.

yep, it's object dock alright, theres a free version and a plus version that enables you to have tabbed docks as well, your better off starting with the free one, then if you like it upgrade to the plus

That's ObjectDock alright, and that particular setup is called a zoomer...which is available in the free version...if you buy the Pro version you get to make tabs, each with it's own set of icons....plus you get a lot of other neat options. It isn't hard to use at all (I use it, if that gives you any idea how simple it is). There is a huge gallery of backgrounds for the program and gobs of icons to place on it...oh yeah, didn't I tell ya? You don't have to use just the standard ol' icon that came with your program, you can design your own icons in png or ico format and use them with objectdock....more than likely, someone has already designed just what you are looking for and it's in the searchable objectdock gallery located here WWW Link and if you don't wanna design your own, or cant find JUST what you are looking for in the gallery, you can always go to the rare icon request thread here WWW Link (shameless plug) and ask someone to design one for you. Get the software xDays...you won't regret it!

The icons are a hodgepodge of various sets found here, deviantart, etc. Plus some are mod's of commercial app versions.

See there xDaySx. I got home from work and look at all the responses. The people who use Object Dock seem to really love it. I got hooked on DesktopX with Window Blinds and Icon Packager so those are my favorites. In any case, I don't know what the icons are in the screen shot you showed, but there are lot's of Icons. You can use any png(250x250 or smaller) or ico file. That means all the Icon Packager files will work, all the icons in the Object Dock library will work and all the icons in the misc. icon library. And, since there is a free version you can try to see how you like it, it's an easy choice, go for it and have fun! Later.

YAY! I got Objectdock, its really cool. I really want to eliminate the taskbar all together but I have 1 problem.....I use Miranda IM, and there is a little miranda dude icon on my taskbar, and when I get a message it flashes and stuff. I tried putting Miranda onto Objectdock and it worked...but it only works to open miranda, and the little online miranda dude icon goes on my original taskbar.......is there any way to put my little miranda dude icon on object dock instead of my taskbar?

you can use .png, .ico, .jpg, or .tga
it only zooms to 256, but on one of my shortcuts I'm using an 848x732 .jpg

I don't use Object Dock alot, but I think you can put a systray on your Object Dock theme and it will function the same. I know it works that way with DesktopX which I use alot. Thanks Bichur I was thinking of 256x256, didn't know it would use a larger image or the other graphics formats. Thanks again.

xDaysx, you can show your tray on the Dock...it's one of the settings on both the free and the Pro version...this should allow you to have the miranda icon from your tray on your dock...to change the icons in your tray, you have to Ctrl+click instead of right click as you do on the other icons in the dock.
