the hospital diaries part II

hiya everyone, well here is another update from my hospital bed. Things are going extremely well the doctor is very pleased with my progress, there is no sign of infection or any other problems even though the pain is still very intense (Gives kudos to morphine dispenser). it should not be long before i start getting back on my foot (pardon the pun).
my non smoking is going very well, i haven't had a cigarette since i came into hospital and when i get out i will not be taking up the filthy habit again, so all in all this has been a very advantageous adventure for me. the way things are going i may be able to get out of here within a week or so, heres hoping. Mr starker i read your post about giving up smoking, good on you mate and your doing it tougher than i had too, after all i had morphine to help me
. not that i recommend everyone try that method 
. i would just like to thank everyone who left comments on my profile site, you all helped more than you could ever imagine, it is nice to know that people care 
. well i have to hop to it the nurse is here to give me my sponge bath (poor me i hear you all say) she is very pretty too. once again thanks for everyones support while this has been going on and i hope to be out of here soon and getting on with my life.

It's really good to hear from you again, Nimbin, and even better to hear the news is all positive. I'm really pleased that you're also quitting the smokes and that you could possibly be at home within a week or so. When that's suggested it's a sure sign the medicos are happy with your progress....tho you wanna see if you can get a couple of nurses or three to stop in real regular for home visits if they're unable to sleep over. 
As for it being tougher for me to give up the smokes, well it has been a lot easier this time around cos I'm more at peace within and am feeling really good about life...tho mrs starkers & mrs starkers senior (mum) contribute enormously to this overwhelming sense of contentment & well-being.....so here's hoping some of it'll rub off on you.
Anyhow mate, take care and be well....hopefully you'll be able to post from home with even more great news in just a few days from now.
