Help Need a clock

Saturday, May 12, 2007 by Plop2 | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

This may not be the place to post this but my son is in the Marines and is currently stationed in Okinawa but will be deloyed to Iraq in the next year I am looking for a clock to add as a widget or preferably to ObjectDock to help me keep track of the time where he is at. I am in the US.

Does anyone have any suggestions. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Plop2, I was not able to find a world clock in Object Dock...however I use the FireFox browser & I use an extension called FoxClocks found HERE

You can have up to 5 clocks on your status bar or as icons that you mouse over or as a toolbar. You can also customize to the 9th degree...After installing & restarting FF then rightclick on the time now showing in your statusbar...first select FoxClocks to choose which timezones you want...then after setting that up...rightclick again & choose options to customize the actual layout.

I use Judge's SysStats world clock available here: WWW Link and here: WWW Link

You can run multiples of them on ObjectDock - I have one at local time, and one for our supplier's timezone in Europe.

HTH.
