I'll check at home later. I've got an ATI X1600 there.

I am going to bump this thread repeatedly until someone takes a look at this.
Still no acknowledgement of the helpdesk ticket I submitted.
C'mon guys. How many times has it been said? This forum is a community support forum, not one monitored by the Stardock devs. We should be thrilled when they do chime in but not expecting it.
Phoon, just becasue you haven't seen any action with your case does not mean that there is no action happening in the background. It could also mean that your problem is in the queue and will be gotten to. Bump away though . . can't hurt, right?
vStyler, interesting observation that it may not be skin related.

Zubaz, I know this is not the supported avenue for support, and I do realize the workings of a helpdesk. It also cannot hurt to send out the reminder messages like that to also assist in gathering more information. This issue may be more widespread than anyone realizes. Many people just may assume this to be normal skin behavior and accept it as such.
For me personally, it kills any enjoyment I get from Windowblinds. A good portion of my favorite themes have done this.

I also didnt know Stardock werent mandated to monitor the forums.. my bad.Reply #26 Thursday, May 10, 2007 9:22 PM
I chose your blind as the example in the screen shot because it is a fantastic piece of work and I want to use it!!
Zoomba has responded to the helpdesk ticket and is passing it along to the proper developers to see what might be happening.

The menu borders on Vienna display correctly on this rig which has proprietary Fujitsu/ATI IGP 340M Catalyst drivers. However, I am seeing the white border on any skin I have that uses .bmp menubackground images with magic pink in the 4px border area. I have no clue why, but makes me wonder if the menu border issue is somehow driver related.
And yes, I'm a guy.

Using the same opaque bmp for all 3 fixed it for me.

When I suggested a forum for skinners to get together with the developers BRAD pointed me to the existing forums.
Phoon didnt post to it ,but there is a section for STARDOCK support. If they are not going to pay attention to long time users and skinners...whats the point ?
Seems a fantastic way to bug shoot...lots of free QC.I posted this same issue(and many others
)and got diddly from Stardock.I put up pretty pictures and described the probs...and nothing. If its in the forums,EVERYONE benefits(at least the developers could let you know whether or not its a known issue)...make a report and it only goes between the sender and Stardock.
Neil responded to ONE issue...didnt say ANYTHING about fixing the prob...just asked a question and split. With his question,we were able to regedit the problem away temporarily.
Is that really how you want us using WB?heheheheheh...sending users into the registry...niiiiiice.

I.R., I've seen this for quite awhile. As I pointed out, Blackcomb does it and I don't believe that one has any transparency in Allprogs menu.
Zoomba,
Any further developments in the support ticket on this? Let's not let it fall to the background if possible.
Thanks all!!
(now, where's that pic Po posted of someone slamming their head into their desk...)

Same Stardock, different Mike
On my machine I'm seeing results similar to vStyler's.
Phoon: Any idea how you got that white border on the 'All Programs' menu?
I've notified the WB lead developer of the issue. Thanks for letting us know about this

Im pretty sure Diawa is a guy..but no, why I was asking is..If he sees IT on some themes..but not on mine.. but you DO see it on mine..sorta deepens the mystery even further doesn't it. If it was theme dependant.. both of you would be getting the issue I assume.
oh and... Stardock.. WHERE ARE YOU?
