Diet? For Valen's sake...

Monday, May 7, 2007 by Fuzzy Logic | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

This is a nightmare. I'm on a diet and I haven't had any chocolate for a week, A WHOLE WEEK! I'm nearly crawling up the wall. What should I do?

Help me Obi-wan Kenobi, you're my only hope...

That must be the PG version of the Cat-in-Mic gif. Waited 80 seconds at least for the gif ending explosion..that never came.

Are you kidding? With all the animal lovers on this site? Best I could do for you would be an exploding bag of dung.

Well Fuzzy since you put it like this, I'll give it to you as straight as I can. First of all, you remember when you were a teenager and you told mom and dad uh-uh not me I don't do that. And finally, when all your denials wouldn't work anymore because your parents busted you so many times even you realised you weren't believable, you either gave up and played it straight or, you said I'm gonna do it if I want to. Well basically that's the same problem we all face. So.... either pack your desk drawers at work with chocolate and fake it with the one and only (and get busted eventually), tempt her into giving in and have some forbidden fruits (chocolate) with you (mmm where have I heard that before), suck it up and tough it out, or admit to her your spineless, weak and only human. By the way, if it helps any, I'm munching on a genuine Alpine Swiss chocolate bar with hazel nuts. Hmmm is it ever good. Later.

Two kinds of Toblerone. Dark. And Milk. Swiss. Little pieces. Snap off one at a time. Got two pckgs. of each right here. Hmmm...maybe I should freeze 'em. Hershey's syrup and whipping cream in the espresso. Home-made chocolate pudding. C. pie w/wh. crm. on top. Fudge. Decadent, rich fudge. Ben & Jerry's New York Super Chunk... ...nah...can't quit just yet...

In order to use the themes, you will have to install WindowBlinds first.....

.... Sorry, couldn't help it with this thread title. I naturally assumed you were a 12 year old, absolutely 100% desperate because he/she wasn't able to apply a skin.

Chocolate? You don't need chocolate! Chocolate tastes horrible, it is bitter. Cadburrys is just plain evil, really oily tasting with a hint of old cardboard to follow.......

.... not like the smooth, creamy Swiss-Chocolate, with its rich cocoa taste....mmmmmmhhhh.

Another idea, covertly bake a 500gram bar of Cadbury's into one of those low fat, low joule cake mixes Weight Watchers put out ....then you can impress her with your resolve to diet while eating your cake & having your chockie too.

Ha! Doesn't matter what you all say, the effort is worth it. This morning I was 1lb under 14st. That's the first time in the last six years. Seven years ago, just before I became ill and was at my fittest (serious mountain biker), I was 11st. It would be nice to get back into my 28" waist Levis

So, the drop in weight and the way a certain lady thinks of me is incentive enough

A dddddiiieett!  OMG!  I can't even say the word.  Try diet chocolate.  If that won't work start extracting some ingredients.  Or better yet add your own.  But hey, haven't you heard the good news yet - dark chocolate is suppose to be healthy.  Oh my what a delimma - to chocolate or not to chocolate, that is the question (I believe that was a tidbit of the past - he must have had to make that decision to.)  I seriously feel your withdrawals.  Just hide all the wrappers, avoid pictures on the internet, and get rid of all your hidden stash.

Good on you, Fuzzy, and all the best with it...if you're feeling good about yourself, then that's all that really matters, cos the rest will fall into place in due course.
