No icons in tray in DesktopX

I cannot figure out why I cannot see my icons in desktopx / WB . They appear to be there in WB before DX boots.
Any ideas?

The icons are in missing in the tray (where the clock in in normal winders). It happens with all themes I have. I have tried changing icons only to no avail! I may have happened after installing /removing winstep (the prev. ver.)

Go to C:\Program Files\common files\stardock right click on SDMCP.exe, create a shortcut
and place this shortcut in this folder C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup

I have same problem. Did the 2 things above and still does not work. It worked on XP but not on Vista.
