Replace Windows Folder Pictures Thumbnail

I don't know if this is the right place for this. But this has been bugging me since I first started using Windows XP. If you have used "Thumbnail View" then you are aware of what I am talking about. The crappy low-res, flat folder icon that is used as the background for a folder's preview of its contents which is a choice of four pictures or whatever. I want to change that. Badly. To something that does my monitor, pictures, themes, etc... justice.

I think that's it. Changing the low res folder background pic to something else.

or are you talking about changing the folder image into a different image?

If I take every thing in that folder (the one showing the low res with pics on it) and move them to a folder in that folder, then the low res becomes whichever Iconpackager folder I'm using.
If I right click on it and go to properties and choose a pic - i get the low res with one pic

The only way to change it is to reshack the dll. There's a tutorial or a thread over at Aqua-soft.org on this.
