Livin' la Vida Google: A Month-Long Dive Into Web-Based Apps

I recently posted a link that talked about online OSs and Web based apps. Well it looks like someone used Google online apps for a month and wrote about his day to day use of them. I believe that some of them have been available for awhile.
So lets stir the pot some more, is this good news or bad news, lets hear some of the pros and cons. Are your opinions different because it's Google that is presenting this?
