Saturday night, Pat and Mick are off out, few pints, get into a fight and see if they can meet a woman or three.
Passing the St, Patricks church, Mick said: "Hold on a minute Pat, I'm in there for confession"
Pat retorted: " You'd go to confession on a night out ?"
Mick said: " I know what I'm doing" he goes into the church " Forgive me father, for I have sinned, I done thingy with a woman"
Priest, "Oh Michael, not again! Who with this time?"
"I'd rather not say father"
"I know, it was that Mary Murphy from the Dog and Duck was'nt it?"
"No father, not her"
"Ok Sheila Conlen from O'connell Street"
"No father, not her either"
"Ok, Erin McCarthy from Temple Street"
"No father, please don't ask me anymore, if she wants to come to confession then thats up to her"
"Well Michael, you've done a bad thing, but you are honourable enough to keep the womans name out of it, so I'll give you absolution, put a quid in the box and be one your way "
Mick gets outside, Pat said " how did it go?"
Mick said "Great, three sure things for a quid"
