Cannot get Desktop Earth to work.

All it does is... Not work. I get nothing.
Core 2 duo, 2 gigs ram, 8800 gts 640. Nvidia drivers the problem?

Do you have the most current version of DeskScapes installed?

I have same problem. It's downloaded ok but doesn't show up in stardock deskscapes for applying. It doesn't do anything if I double click on the file either.

downloaded, authenticated, setup, started : works one time
right click, personalize..... waitn for minutes.. desktop stops, nothing happened, again:
right click, personalize .. nottin. computer hangs, mouse works.
restart PC.
Cyan Background, no earth.
right click, personalize, choosed another 3D desk, works, switch back to Earth, old desk freezes, nottin happens, everytime same.
redownloaded, renamed to earth2 .. same, did not work at all.
reinstalled Drivers (got the new ones, tried NVidia Beta too) nothing works.
PC Specs: Dell XPS720 h20 best configuration,2gtx,4gig,1,5tb,etc (latest quadcore etc but vista32 on primary partition)
ps: while typing this text i had Halloween runnin in background, it stops: error encountered with DeskScape... i thing Deskscape is friggn my sys up.
spend 9bucks for crap .. lol

It maybe your drivers. What version do you have? I'm using 100.41 (haven't updated to the latest yet) and it works fine.
Is it only one which doesn't work?
