As long as the person has permission or the wallpaper was designed to be widely distributed and it's good then I want it here.
Why should I have to comb dozens of sites to find good wallpapers?
And there ya go, end of story...LoL
Side note, Azdude, no one was trying to implicate you publically or point the finger at you personally... Nobody would have ever known it was "that" wall that started the discussion except for a select few... It really was nothing personal and I hope that you do continue on your "creative" path...

to fall in the " Gray area " i'm sure making for tuff decisions to be made,
but they are the Mods and that's their job - and ALL decisions then should
be FINAL !!! the END -they except or rejct based on ALL the info the have gathered
We are not privy to that info - to be the Judges
Yes, it is often 'tuff', but when it comes to works being uploaded to a site the onus is directly upon the uploader to seek/obtain appropriate permissions for whatever it is he wishes to borrow/use/upload. This is often cause for much angst and drama as it is NOT uncommon for the permission obtained to be fundamentally flawed. One common issue is with specifics.....eg. - "yes, you can use my wall as a logon"....but the uploader made a winamp skin out of it.
Sometimes [rarely] permission is obtained from what the uploader believes to be the author.....only to subsequently find out he may NOT be, but is simply another person who 'saw the wall' and decided to share it [without consent].
I explained the sense and sensibilities of this thread topic way back in #5 [look up].
Frogboy clarified the 'why' of it all....[more good wallpapers].
Both of us, [and others] simply stressed the point "with permission".
If and/or when an upload bounces to and fro from public access it's an indicator that an 'issue' has come to light....which is eventually resolved one way or another...
