It's sitting on my storage drive right now (on a 80gb partition, drive itself is 500gb) so thats why my score is so low.

[color="#FF0000"]I just install the new ATI version 7.8 and it made my ATI PCI X1300 worst... I don't know where ATI is getting there drivers from but the newer drivers are worst from the old ones. So I install a different driver and my PC Windows Base score went up on Graphics from 2.0, 2.7. 3.0 much better and can run AERO much better... If any one using ATI X1300 PCI base score more than 3 please let me know what driver version are they using.. Thanks

Hey Snow, I tried the "classic" trick and it worked a bit I guess..
It boosted my gaming graphics from 3.6 to 3.7 and boosted my aero graphics from 3.1 to 3.2...

I would try the the Tweak VI think but I think I gotta get ahold of a good version of that first..

Will look into it...

*still pondering other ways to boost Index scores*

Thanks for the advice all

Hi All. This is my score.

Subscore
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 CPU 550j 1MB L2 cache ( Single core) 3.4GHz---- 4.4

Memory ram: Twinmos pc4300 533MHZ ( 2 X 1GB)+( 2 X 512MB) Total 3GB ----- 5.5
Memory note: My subscore was 4.5 when I had only 1 GB ram ( 2 X 512 MB)

Graphics: Desktop performance for windows Aero -------------------------- 5.5
Note: My Graphics subscore was 4.5 before I upgrade my memory ram from ( 2 X 512 MB) total 1 GB ram to 3 GB ram.

Gaming graphics: 3D business and gaming graphics performance ------------ 4.1
Note: I am using Nvidia 6600 GT 128 MB Core bus: 500MHZ ( Factory bus speed, not overclocked),
Memory bus: 1000 MHZ ( DDR 3 not overclocked).
Note 2: My Gaming graphics was 3.9 before I upgrade my driver for Nvidia.

Primary hard disk: Seagate 250 GB Sata @7200 rpm ------------------------ 5.8

Base score 4.1.

I overclocked my system ( Cpu, memory and Nvidia GPU) but no change. I wounder how Vista read base score. Maybe based on your hardware so even overclocked system, windows vista will keep my score unchanged. I noticed updating my VGA driver change my base score for gaming and graphics from 3.9 to 4.1 , upgrading memory does help alot in Vista but OC does not change my subscore at all for some reason.
