Why is that?

Oh and try fixing a friends computer, spending hours on the task and then ask a favour afterwards in their line of work. Example? Plumbing.
I wonder! What do you think?

Clouds. Freakin' clouds. What the *&%$ do I look like? The Happy Little Tree's guy? Well, I ain't happy and I don't do TREE'S either! Then the people with teenagers who want BLACK bedrooms (ceilings too, of-freakin-course) and 'could you spray some gold or silver metallic fleks all over it?' Then I have to explain to the parents, 'No. That burn in the carpet is not form my cigarettes. It's from the bone that your little pothead was smoking while he was getting high on my turpentine while you were in the toddler's room wondering how CLOUDS would look on THAT ceiling!'
Then, oh yeah, and then, do you think they help? HA! And when I ask if they would like to come over and paint MY house, suddenly everyone has arthritis, migraines, and family dying. YEAH! I've killed more people just by asking someone "You wanna help me paint....' and their family starts dropping like flies!
Well... one day, I'm gonna come for all of them. Yup. And I'm gonna force them all back to my house. And I'm gonna make THEM paint clouds on MY ceiling! My cathedral ceiling! Without ladders! They'll have to piggy back. And those clouds better be the fluffiest f****ng clouds I ever saw!
AAAAAGHHHHHHH!

So when can you start?
p.s. if you come over early enough, you could join us for supper (beans & franks), we'd love to pay you back some way for the hard work!!!
Sorry I couldn't resist, please don't kill me. Been there, done that, in fact I think I'm still there, they haven't let me leave yet.

Would you prefer cumulus, stratus, or cirrus?
Wait.
You have brown mustard, right?

I hate having to do work for friends and family. One of my mother's friends 'might' be opening up a bakery. So of course, rather than go to a designer who could charge from $500 to $1000 for not only a logo, but an entire identity, she came to me. And not only that, she had 'font suggestions.' Not only that, she had 'color suggestions.' Her font suggestion? Edwardian Script. (Sidenote: my type teacher drew that typeface for ITC, which is only useful for things like wedding invitations. And she wanted it for a bakery logo?) And her color suggestions? Bright purple and green. For a bakery? A French bakery? So what did I do? Ignore all her suggestions!

Don't have a lot to offer in return, but we eat well and have a real comfy spare bed, not to mention the lovely warm weather we're quite happy to share with you.

I hope he's using water based latex when he paints, I don't want any flammable spray paints being used if there will be explosive emissions of gas in the area! Clouds painted on the ceiling are one thing, clouds of smoke emanating from someone after floating an air biscuit was not part of the deal.

No need, really! For paints, that is. With the right combination of beans and curried cabbage (based on the theory that hot air (gas) rises) clouds would form naturally on the ceiling....just add licorice food colouring for storm clouds, cochineal for clouds at sunset.
