WTF

Thursday, March 15, 2007 by DocX | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Where is the Windowblinds forum??? I don't have hours to look though all this stuff. Work to hard. Using windowblinds I cant just click close and close a window in Photoshop CS3. Have to Control/W it. Using any skin... Also have to turn off Cursor XP or it just goes behind all the windows...

Really going down hill guys..

I don't want to hear the accuses from you kiss ups to stardock. Just someone with a answer.

Are you running dual monitors by chance? I have that problem sometimes with CursorXP Plus using dual monitors. I just reboot and everything works as normal. There is a forum post around here somewhere addressing this issue, and support does know about it.

Not a good way to get any help!    Try being nice in your forum post, and you may actually receive some help.

This is a Windows issue as to how XP draws/handles per pixel/transparent layers. From one of the Stardock team on another thread, MS has no plans to address this issue.

i am not having a go at him, it's just that the problem could be his end and nothing to do with the products he is using, it's all to easy to blame others when the cause is ur own. just an opinion, if i am wrong, thats cool, if i am right, thats cool, but isn't it worth looking into ?

Docx, You catch more bees with honey, than vinegar. From what I can tell you posted in the General Discussion area of the Wincustomize Forums. Follow these simple steps to post in the Windowblinds Forum...

  • go to https://forums.stardock.com (the Stardock Support Forums)
  • Look at the Object Desktop forum (the first one)
  • Count 8 links down from that, to the WindowBlinds forum.
  • Click the link.

PS CS3 is currently beta. Hopefully fixed in the final release. Until then you can exclude the app from skinning.

My comment does come off rude. I apologize, I was pisxed off when I wrote that and have felt bad about it ever since. I like stardock too.It just seems I run into more and more of these kinds of problems with things I really need to use and its agravateing.

P.S. I really don't think things are going down hill guys. I love your software.

I solved my problem by setting Object Dock to Always On Top and my Qlock on Desktop to no transparency.

Will see if it happens on other windows!

Hope this helps!
