Hi, every peoples, I been wondering lately, which OS do you prefer?
I am neutral on this subject except for the fact that I hate the mac ads because they are so misleading.

Got to agree with this to a point.
They to not bother because OS X is what maybe 5% if Apple is lucky.
While I think OS X has holes I would always go with Microsoft having the buggy system.
For two reasons
1) Microsoft does not have hardware control Windows Vista has to work on a virtually unlimited combination of hardware.
2) OS X is based on Linux and contains fewer lines of code. On one the boards I read a member posted a flow diagram for and internet call on Windows and on OS X. You do not have to have a computer science degree to see OS X is clean.
Even this aside I did read on good unbiased article where the author was comparing Vista and OS X.
And Vista does many things better that OS X and the other way around OS X does many thing better than Vista.

You don't have issues with viruses because the people who make them don't bother with OS X. People that do that kind of thing do it for attention, owning a Mac is already self inflicted upon the owner, its a waste of time.
And yes, OS X is riddled with holes and security flaws, no one wants to bother with it because it holds no bragging rights.
Who's gonna get more attention? The guy that takes down Microsoft or the guy that takes down Apple? Microsoft, hands down.
If the market where to do a complete 180 and Apple was in the lead they would make Microsoft look like Gods in the who's OS is more secure game.
And yes, OS X is riddled with holes and security flaws, no one wants to bother with it because it holds no bragging rights.

ok, after doing some research I found some facts that may change popular belief
1. macs don't get viruses
only a little true due to macs small amount of popularity, a test on the mac showed that macs were actually MORE susceptible to viruses than PCs
2. you can run everything PC on a mac with boot camp!!!
yes, you can run everything windows with boot camp but, lets say you do, if so then you need (please correct me if I'm wrong)WINDOWS!!! which will cost you another $99-(I think vista ultimate is like $300?) and if I remember correctly it's not guaranteed to work
3. macs (hardware and software) will always be faster than any PC
yea, this one isn't really based on research but lets face it, your basic mac is pretty expensive and is equivalent to what I can build for a lot less (if I had 700-1000 dollars to build a machine it would beat a mac any day and 700-1000 dollars is for the Imacs not the mac pro which is even more expensive, not only that but if you want the video and image editing abilities for the mac you ave to pay even more for the software.)
in short ( and to stay on topic) I think I'd go for a PC and if I wanted anything like a mac I'd download a linux distribution and put beryl on it to make things look way better than any mac or PC has ever come close to.
