Hi everybody! 
i come here with this question for you:
When you download a skin it's:
1st: your personal use to customize your PC
or
2nd: just to look the skin and comment it
or
3th: you never download a skin
others explain if you want
i'm really interesting by your answers
Me i download in general just to look the skin and comment it.

..I just started skinning...couple of rainies, a wall and a screenshot so I know, somewhat, how much work goes into them. Kudos to all skinners...you guys rock!!!

i download for many reasons, to learn and find out how a skinner did something that I cant do....personal use, and also to view it so i can give comments on the skin, or hints to improve it....

When I first started with Wincustomize I thought I had to have every WB that came out. Nowadays, I have certain features that I like in a blind. For instance, I like a windowblind that actually has the blind feature. I'm much more apt to dl a skin that goes with a favorite wall. After a couple of years you get to know your tastes,I think. I rarely make comments anymore, because I tend to say the wrong thing. I guess I'm an inadvertant troublemaker when it comes to comments!!!

sometimes not commenting can hurt people too.. best thing that ever happened to my skinning was a few good doses of blunt honesty.

I have gotten a bit more selective over time with what I download. I generally try out something out then decide to keep it or remove it. Call it local moderation........
I have a 14 year old who reminds me of that all the time.

I'm a downloading fool 
- never taken any computer classes , I use the internet for school - this is how I learn things - I use some of my downloads and maybe just look or study others - try to figure out how they did that and pick up on new ideas - I file lot of things away for a rainy day - programs I check out and if i like I keep if not I delete - but now good or bad I know about them - I work in a computer store now - so I have to stay on top of things for the customers - i don't like it - he he when they know more than me ....lol ... so that's my story and i'm stickin' to it !!

Thanks Chasbo! i'm also a skin junkie but i always to make mine before and when there to bad i use others LOL and when i use a skin make by an other author and i don't like it i deleted it. Simple
