change skin configuration file

Friday, February 23, 2007 by jayleesan | Discussion: Skinning

Hello all! I sure would appreciate some help with this:

I am using the Aero Style skin (Vista-like style on WB5). Now is the thing, that the default background color in WORD, Notepad and IE is not white, just a little gray.

I would like to set it back to white again, this goed well when I call display-properties > Appearance > Advanced and change bgcolor (behind window text) to White, but after restarting ist all gray again.

Hope someone knows wich setting in wich file I need to change so window background is white on loading the theme.

Thank you verry much for any effort to help me. thnx!

You can do it in SkinStudio. Download and install that and then go to the WB config window and once the skin is selected that you want to edit, click on Edit in Skin Studio and it should be under Miscellaneous > Background - Window.
