I wish this could be supported on wincustomize
Xion Audio Player
Wednesday, February 21, 2007 by IRaidedTheFridge | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
I've been using xion audio player for awhile now, ( http://xion.r2.com.au/ )and I really wish wincustomize would make a section for it. The cool thing about it is that it is amazingly easy to skin since it takes raw .psd files, and creates the skin. All you have to do is name the layer with the play button "play", etc. Here's a skin i recently made for it:

Unless I'm behind the times...WMP cant use the translucency elements I see here.
I gotta try this.Carl...what do you mean 'thump'?Is that a skinnable media player?

But I love the skinning engine in this. Skins which are PSD files. Great. I think it's worthy of a WC section.

PS- if anybody wants to play around with Xion a little bit, I recommend going into the forums and grabbing the latest beta since they have more features.

I like how this player installs new skins, just drop the zip with the Ps file onto the player and it switches.
Looks like I can finally do my analog vu meters with this.
It'll be huge,it'll suck cpu cycles...clog the screen!I dont care...they will finally work.

The app needs to be popular, alive, and thus prominent, really.
I think the skinning 'method' makes it a contender....[and the 'au' in the addy doesn't hurt....wink]...
