rainlender help

Tuesday, February 20, 2007 by Vampothika | Discussion: Skinning

Im extending my skinning abilities to rainlender (and possibly) icons for my skins.  okay, with rainlender,

im having fun so far, and i have found out about the ini file, but my question is, where do you find the codes and numbers for the font colour, and font style?  ive seen in the ini files that font styles are named and Ive noticed that a font file is also included with the skin.

the number of a certain colour looks almost too insane to be true...one rainlender i saw had the colour : rf45j23 (this IS an exageration) but thats what I mean....so how is the colour number and or letter code decided, and where can it be found?

I read the rainlender instructions, and they told me to unzip the skin it came with and change the file to .zip instead of 2rw or something like that....and I couldnt do that...so ive been disecting other peoples rainlender skins (from here) to see what goes on.

I don't if this will be any help KM 'cause I've never done Rainlender's before so I can honestly say that I probably won't know what I'm talking about.
But, I have messed with HTML, and what it sounds like you may be referring to is a Hexadecimal color value or Hex code for a given color or colors.
This is a Link to a Page where you can Double Click on a name of a color at the right side of the screen, then use the sliders to adjust the color to how you want it. After that, you can see the number values I think you may be referring to in both forms of Hex and RGB.
I'm not sure if it'll help, but here's the Link:

If you use firefox, there's also ColorZilla = puts a dropper in the bottom left corner of your browser - click it once and mouse over stuff in your browser, double click it and a separate palette window opens
