Having Trouble Learning DesktopX? RomanDA Wants to Help!

We
often lean heavily on the members of our community to help each other out in
learning how to use software like SkinStudio, IconDeveloper and DesktopX.
They're not easy tools and require a fair bit of invested time to really get a
feel for how to get them to do what you want. DesktopX is probably one of
the most difficult creation tools since it requires both coding and graphics
skill.
After numerous tutorials on the subject, community member, and gadget guru, RomanDA is stepping it up and is offering to write a more up to date and relevant DesktopX Starter Guide. However, he's looking for your input. What would you most like to see in a starter guide? Which features need the most explanation? He has an article here, asking for feedback and suggestions.

I think theres enough hbasic tutorials out there so maybe one with some basic getting started but the rest focuesed on more advanced things like scripting maybe?

Would love to see how to make a folder object , that would indicate content or no content, similar
to mail? . Also , a resizeable recycle bin object using some of the great graphics from IP sets.
