Windows Vista users already make up 5% of traffic

Windows Vista has gone from being 1% of traffic of WinCustomize.com last week to over 5% on January 30th -- the official release date of Windows Vista.
Any bets on where it'll be next week?

I suspect that MS will sell well but not as well as XP did.

-the driver support is terrible for a new OS. Some hardware items do not have Vista drivers available with all the previous XP functionality.
-the Upgrade Home Vista versions won't clean install, you have to install on top of XP. Whatever happened to the earlier compliance checking routine?
-one does get tired of "glass" effects
None the less the "I've got to have that" mentality will win out over the "do I really need it" mindset and thats why its money in the bank for Microsoft.

Waiting on two OEM Home Premiums in the mail ($117 each).
As a side note, the four reasons I am converting immediately:
1 - A more professional looking GUI
2 - Fantastic icons
3 - Great navigation paths (especially the 'Breadcrumb?' address bar navigation)
4 - Excellent display driver model for smooth delivery of the shell drawing
IMO - the biggest hurdle is the lack of fully compatible software titles that run well on XP. This almost stopped me from making the move until next year, but going back to XP after running RC2 just wasn't doing it for me.

But I do not count myself as one of those salivating "Gotta have it"/"Run out and kill someone for a copy" folks that Rahn referred to. I've been using Vista Beta for quite awhile now and knew what to expect.....lots of beta-testers did the same. I suspect the numbers will go up at least by 5%.

Personally, I don't think that I'll switch over. On our test in at work with the business edition, there was already 4 windows updates. It looks nice, but alot of programs don't seem to work correctly on it. BTW, I work on the tech crew at a school district so you know what type of place I'm testing it at.
