BUMP!

a while back Gregory2001 started a thread re: Challenger skin. Bichur came along and "BUMPed" it. Me being the naive and web-lingo novice that i am, asked Bichur exactly what this meant, only to get flamed for it(by Gregory2001), Bichur kindly shared his wisdom with me... So this is for all of you who have no idea what "BUMP" means and seem to get offended by it when its left on a thread you may have written....
B.U.M.P.= bring up my post.
i.e. lets say you have started a thread and are awaiting an answer to it. then lets say skinhit comes along and doesnt have an answer to your question but would like to see it answered. at that point i may post a "BUMP" comment in the hopes that your thread will be brought to the top of "Recent Forum Activity" and someone who may have an answer will come along and answer accordingly...without someone posting a bump comment, your thread may get buried in the forums forever never to be seen by anyone else again...
Hopefully this will clear up any confusion that anyone may have...Happy Bumping!
