Newbie Question

Firt of all, sorry about my bad english. I'm just started with desktopx. Now i try to modify a theme from english to german.Is it possible to extract a graphic to modify it in photoshop, and then build it back in the theme?

yes

take the theme, change the extenstion to .zip, extract it, find the graphic, edit it, rezip, change the extension back

Switch to DesktopX Builder Mode > then open the DX config. window and select the "Desktop" tab. Once here, under desktop section click the "open desktop data folder" button and all the graphics should be there. Edit then replace and save the theme.

Orrrrr go to C:\Documents and Settings\"Your User Name"\Local Settings\Application Settings\Stardock\DesktopX\"Theme Name"

This folder contains all the individual graphics (and Script codes) for that particular theme.
