Updating the biggest suite ever made : Heavy Equipment
common !!!!
Monday, November 27, 2006 by neophil78 | Discussion: OS Customization
Once upon a time and before (i think
) WinCustomize was created, probably the biggest suite ever made was done, over which, a lot of talented skinners have bring their time and feelings ... i'm talking about HEAVY EQUIPMENT stuff.Apart that i love this suite, i think it would be a great thing, that to increase this spirit of sharing, once again those who would want to, would be OK to update skins to latest softwares versions.
Here's the "main" element (i mean WindowBlinds) https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=1260&LibID=1 but you can also still find
- Iconpackage https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=637&LibID=2
- One Screenshot https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=653&LibID=13 shawing a great part of the suite
- A version of Suite itself https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=101&LibID=22
- A pack of Wallpapers https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=24&LibID=8
- A Winamp https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=17&LibID=10
And probably founding others software skins by searching better ...
As far as i'm concerned, i should be OK to bring up updates to a fiew apps but not for all, and also not for the coordination of it ...

Anyone to build up this project ?

jaja.OK, I wanted to participate in this suite, so meanwhile TYCUS is making the cool heavy equipment cursor I made one, it's not entirely new because it's the same design as my Blue Light cursor, but with a different texture and some new animations.
Tell me what you think

and Jak, the cursor in it's normal size looks darker and I have some bad news I already did the animations so I don't think I could make the lines thicker, but thanks for your suggestions man, you're a great artist too and the icon set is excellent!Reply #130 Monday, January 8, 2007 3:52 AM
| i would say it needs to be more of a yellow orange |
same, but after having downloaded it, i've found the way : i just rename the .CurXPTheme as .zip and recolor it with SkinStudio with a more orange color and it rocks

I think I still have the original images/graphics created by Crumbut that we 'ALL' used as the basis for the various skins.
It's quite 'important' that anything that's going to be done now as an addon for the original suite be done to faithfully follow the style/colours and graphics of the original works.
As an example....that cursor really is the wrong colour...

J Aroche, been using your cursor since it was posted. Works and looks just fine for me.

btw, anyone ever come up with a new list of stuff that needs to be done? I would like to help if possible. My skills are limited but I've done fairly well with ports in the past.
