Yeah, a bloke'll laugh like buggery when it happens to somebody else....but they never appreciate the laughter (see the funny side) when it happens to them, so catching ones 'Ahem' in a zipper would have to be No1 on any bloke's 'worst' list....

I remember crying when it happened to Ben Stiller in "There's Something About Mary" ....admittedly most of those tears were from laughter, but a few were from the memory of having to turn up at the A & E with that predicament some years before....

The only thing that eased my embarrassment (some), was the fact there was another guy there with his 'Ahem' firmly wedged in a vaccuum cleaner pipe....REALLY!

For the last line of the above comment, Erk leaves the obvious one-liner well and truly alone...

So you're not gonna join the 'let's take this thread downhill real fast club', then?

BTW, that actually happened....December 21 1981 around 7. 20pm, bloke walks (limps) into RBH cas dept seeking assistance in said pipe's removal. Mebbe he shoulda called IN a plumber to have saved himself the public ridicule/humiliation....the thick & fast humour (from staffers & patients alike) made it a much better night out than an evening at Comedy Central
