Skinning the titlebar forOffice 2007 on XP

Monday, November 20, 2006 by cybermessiah | Discussion: WindowBlinds

Hi guys.

I have just installed Office 2007 onto XP and it looks great except for one thing....the  main titlebars wont skin.Im using WB v 5.01 and wondering why the main windows wont skin to the themes i use. Ive seen pictures of this app with the Aero look and heard that Office 2007  titlebar does make use of the glass effect in Vista.

Just wondering if I'm stuck with the default 3 titlebar skins on Xp or is there a way to get those titlbars to skin under Windowblinds, short of intalling Vista to enable this effect.

Thanx in advance for your help.

Microsoft has worked very hard to make Office unskinnable. The last version that was sort of skinnable was Office2000, though even that was limited to the Titlebar, borders & a few controls. I don't think Stardock can do much with it on XP, though they are beginning to get a handle on skinning Office in Vista. Not perfect from the shots I've seen, but getting closer.

Just installed WB510_enhanced 2days ago.

Made Advanced Settings as:"Allow skins to replace user icons",and Overrides XP setting.

Have similar issues:
Titlebar /Boarder skin properly for IE/FX/My Document folder, however:
1.Toolbar remains no change in IE7 & FX1.5.0.9
2. Animations not working in IE/FX/My Document

And anyone know where and how to update to WB4.49?

Anyone can help? Thanks for replys.
