I changed my avatar yet the site will not display it. Even according to the "My Account" page it says it is changed.

It says No Photo, if uploaded image is not 50x50 there are/have been some resize issues causing part of the default image if no avatar used to show. I think it happens most with off sizes as in not 1 to 1 ratio.

Your avatar size is listed as 50x44 pixels - thats why it doesn't cover the entire area of 50x50 . I've resized it to 50x50 if you want to bother changing it.

It's not that I don't want to change the size. I don't have nor want to download an image manipulating program. Call me lazy.

Recently attended a fancy dress do as a sumo wrestler and resulting pic would've made a great avatar reflecting my persona....but no way was I gonna get a 50 x 50 out of a 1280 x 1122 pic that'd already been cropped 200% ta capture my entire girth.
