Free Anti-Virus?

My girlfriend needs a good anti-virus software, thats free. Can you give me a hand?

yes, AVG is quite weak. I've seen it thwarted many times. For free, I recommend Avast (haven't trying Bitdefender). For pay, I recommend NOD32...bar none.

With the most recent updated program for AVG free...
It has to be one of the best free anti-virus programs around.

Kaspersky was rated the highest in a recent test. Caught the most viruses out there. AOLs free anti virus software is actually using Kaspersky. As much as I hate to recommend anything from AOL it is free.
