Condense Padding For A Skin? [images included]

Thursday, October 12, 2006 by Keikonium | Discussion: Skinning

I have a bit of an issue I'd like to fix . I have been using Buuf for a while now because it looks great, and it has everything I really need in a skin. I just however, got a whole lot of new peripherals for my computer. They are ALL black and blue... and I wanted a skin to match. So I downloaded the newly created skin, Ares. Here is my problem:

With Buuf, the padding around buttons and such in firefox is REALLY small. Giving me more room for the website, and just a much cleaner look (to me anyway).

With Ares, the padding around buttons is alot wider, and I personally don't like this look very much.

So my question is: What settings should I change in skinstudio (on Ares) to adjust this padding? If this is even possible to do (and not an image issue).

Thank you for any help you can provide. Also big thanks to the skin creators; you rock!

The buttons in Ares are simply larger than the buttons in Buuf. It would require modifying the button images.

Okay, thank you for your reply Koasati . I shall modify the skin to my liking. I'm sure I can do that so long as I don't distrubte .

Thanks for your reply

Have you checked the images in both skins?
The toolbar buttons in Ares are 50x32 ...... Buuf buttons are 38x23.
