To include font in the WB skin is it legal?

Friday, September 15, 2006 by basj | Discussion: Skinning

Hi all...I just want to know if it is legal to do so? I get one nice font which look good on my new w/blind skin. I am considering to have it pack together with my skin for it release. I think I get that font from others w/blinds skin that I download here. The font name is "hooge"..and I did google for it and I can really tell if it is freeware or payware.

So should I just pack it or stay with the normal "windows pack fonts"?

Thanks.

I don't there is a problem if it's a "freeware" font. Now if it's a font that is not available to the public without paying, then I would assume there would be a problem.

Hooge is a payware font. It was created by a guy called Craig kroeger and originally the whole series of Hooge fonts were free, but have since gone payware.

Hip ...that really creates problems....free first then payware later....unless when free there were strict restrictions on any subsequent distribution.

Seems a bit arse-about to be controllable...
